Flannel!
Double-layer, heavy-duty flannel (no fleece, no batting) is great for so many things!
In summers and overheated winters, it helps keep ferrets cool and comfy. (note that lightweight bedding is NOT a substitute for AC!)
It's great for travel because it's soooo much more compact and easier to pack than traditional bedding.
Some (usually intact) ferrets are such diggers that fleece and batting aren't safe around them. Heavy flannel is great.
